We are making efforts to offer recycling to the Stavronikita area. Although the Municipality of Kassandra does not offer this service yet, we have arranged for collecting recyclable packaging, at two collection stations in our area.
The recycling stations are in operation since the 1st of August. The first one can be found next to the fire-protection check-point near the TYPET camp, the second on the main road to Fokies, right after the temporary parking lot. The locations are shown on the map:
Aluminum and metal cans, plastic bags and bottles, glass bottles and jars, milk and juice boxes, paper and cartons are welcome in our recycling system. Glass is to be collected in the metal bins, while all others go into the blue bins.
